Basil Pear Yogurt

My husband and son love eating yogurt, but the varieties in the store tend to be full of sugar and additives! Instead, I start with a plain base and have fun creating my own different flavor combinations. I threw this one together one day, and it’s been a favorite ever since. We especially love making it in the summer when we have fresh basil growing in our garden.

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp basil chopped
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 pears chopped


  • Mix everything together until combined.
  • Add additional honey to taste.
