When I adopted more of a Whole30 lifestyle, rice was one of the things that I really limited eating. We often use cauliflower rice in place of rice but cauliflower isn't the only vegetable out there that can substitute the feeling of eating rice. I've found that finely chopped cabbage gives me the same sensation of eating rice and as an added bonus, Fletcher doesn't realize the difference.
Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Add cooking fat to the skillet. Once everything is hot, add chopped cabbage. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring often, and add salt.
Add minced garlic to cabbage and continue stirring to keep cabbage and garlic from burning. Remove from heat once everything is fragrant and cabbage is cooked to your preference.
Stir in mustard.
Eat with BurgerFit burgers or add to BurgerFit Stir Fry.
