Homemade BBQ Sauce
Super easy paleo BBQ Sauce that can be used as a burger and fry condiment, marinade, or even as a basting mixture when grilling or smoking.
Servings: 10 people
Combine all ingredients into a saucepan and whisk to mix. Bring to a soft boil over medium heat, whisking often.
Continue to gently simmer, reducing the heat if needed, for the sauce to thicken (approximately 10 minutes). Continue to whisk frequently to keep the sauce from burning.
Add more seasonings as needed to make it to your taste. If needed, add more maple syrup to sweeten.
Remove the sauce from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Add more spice if you like the heat
Swap out the Spicy Brown Koops' Mustard for a Dijon for a more subtle BBQ sauce
Add more herbs like oregano if you like extra flavors
