Meet Alane and Philip
Alane Boyd
Alane has kept her 40 lb weight loss off since 2013, and created BurgerFit and Cooking with My Friends as a way to get her family eating better. Her health journey started in 2012 after being diagnosed with high blood pressure and obesity. Frustrated and determined, Alane decided to make small, sustainable changes in her diet so that it would be maintainable for a lifetime. Now Alane maintains a healthy weight range and has incorporated quick and easy recipes that keep her picky family members eating better!
Philip Gibbons
Philip Gibbons is the host of The Philip Gibbons Radio Show on 94.7 The GIANT in Cookeville, TN. With a radio career spanning four decades, he's worked with the Grand Ole Opry, the CMA music festival and Philip has also been an announcer for Tennessee Tech University sports since 1982. He was inducted into the Tennessee radio hall of fame in 2019.
How We Met
As fate would have it, my first time at Zimmer Broadcasting to be on Brent Fleshman‘s morning show, we had the chance to meet Philip Gibbons. We instantly fell in love with him and alway try to fill him up with BurgerFit burgers.
