Gluten-Free Packed with a Punch Yogurt - Episode 7: What's in Our Pantry

What’s in our Pantry? During this season of social distancing, we are taking measures to protect ourselves and others by staying home. But that doesn’t mean that we suddenly know what we’re going to eat for lunch!! We’re still finding creative ways to use up the food we do have to make delicious and healthy lunches all from home. And adapting some of them so the kids will eat them too!

What’s in Our Pantry is all about using the things you have on hand to create quick and easy recipes that taste amazing, too! This Gluten-Free Packed with a Punch Yogurt recipe makes for an easy and versatile meal that can be made up just 15 minutes before you want it. The combinations are endless, so add whatever ingredients you have on hand to create your own Packed with a Punch Yogurt!
Play around with different ingredients, it doesn’t have to be perfect. Sometimes I’ll even put in some dried fruit like raisins or blueberries, just depending on what I have in my pantry. -Alane

Packed with a Punch Yogurt
Ingredients:
  • Plain yogurt
  • Rolled oats
  • Chia seeds
  • Maple syrup
  • Vanilla
This recipe is gluten-free, but make sure to check that the rolled oats weren’t processed in a facility that also processes wheat! It should tell you right on the package.
Instructions:
  1. Don’t measure just add some and stir until you get the consistency and flavor that you like!
  2. Have fun with it and add dried fruit or nuts.
  3. Don’t fill until the container is full. Oats and chia seeds may expand.
