This nutrient-rich, quadruple sprout, gluten-free, dairy-free, keto, Paleo, and Whole30 Mediterranean Inspired Salad recipe and a super-easy keto, Whole30Paleo, blended ground beef, broccoli sprout powder BurgerFit burger recipe is what needs to be on your dinner menu this week.

Ayessa Holbrook from SunGarden sprouts and Alane Boyd from BurgerFit team up in this virtual cooking class to bring you two recipes that are packed with vitamins, nutrients, and are high in protein. Both recipes also include Koops’ Mustard for a flavor boost to the sprout salad and BurgerFit burger.

I love this sprout salad because it uses so many different types of sprouts, all you need is the Bean Sprouts and Crunchy Sprouts from SunGarden. While your kids may not gobble this salad down because of all the different types of vegetables that are in it, putting a few sprouts on their plate can be a great introductory way for them to try it! Sprouts are cute and fun and they make kids curious. Plus, you are getting a concentrated amount of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals in a small serving.

Even if they aren’t curious enough to try an adorable sprout, this BurgerFit burger recipe has your back! Trying to get kids to eat vegetables can be really difficult and I’m all about sneaking in some of our BurgerFit sprout powder to help make sure they are getting the fiber and vitamins they need. With the Broccoli Sprout Powder from BurgerFit kids (and picky adults!) won’t even know they are eating vegetables yet they’ll be loving it! Using our sprout powders can be a win for getting a kid to eat vegetables. This BurgerFit recipe is also quick and easy to make after a long day of work. It really is as easy as making a burger. I love using the Koops’ Arizona Heat Mustard on mine while my son loves the Koops’ Honey Dijon on his.

While I used the Stone Ground Koops’ Mustard in the BurgerFit burger and Ayessa used the Honey Koops’ Mustard, you can experiment with any of the Koops’ Mustards!

Some of the Koops’ Mustards that I think would be great in this recipe are:

For this salad, any of the SunGarden sprouts could be substituted:

My favorite way to eat this Broccoli Sprout BurgerFit Burger and Mediterranean Inspired Salad Dish is to put them side by side. I typically avoid using bread to make up a burger and with this combo, it isn’t needed. My boys (my husband and son) always love making a traditional burger with a bun, pickles, and cheese. If you are wanting to get a little more creative with ways to serve your BurgerFit burgers, we have BurgerFit deconstructed recipes to help you out! One of my favorite BurgerFit deconstructed recipes to go with this salad and burger is the Mediterranean Pita Pocket.

Eating veggies has never been easier. -Alane

How We Met

BurgerFit and Koops’ Mustard met before going to the World Food Championships. Since mustard pairs perfectly with burgers, BurgerFit offered samples of Koops’ Mustard in their Tasting Pavilion booth. From there, they continued their relationship by partnering for BurgerFit Friday.

BurgerFit and SunGarden met through mutual connections in the same town where BurgerFit is headquartered. Both companies immediately connected through helping people eating healthier. Sprouts are a perfect, simple addition to any mal and we love how well they go with BurgerFit.

Simply delicious and it looks absolutely stunning and so fancy! I substituted feta for soft goat cheese and used nothing but the freshest veggies. It worked really well. Will certainly save and repeat!
