Dairy-Free Pumpkin Hummus

Easy, gluten-free, dairy-free pumpkin hummus is everything you ever wanted in a fall snack! Whether you are looking for a way to use leftover roasted pumpkin, a delicious fall recipe, or a way to use pumpkin that doesn’t incorporate pumpkin spice, this is your perfect recipe!

Hummus is always a go-to in our house. My husband would really prefer eating snacks for most meals and my son is constantly hungry so hummus helps solve both! The addition of pumpkin in this recipe makes me love it even more because it adds a hidden vegetable that my son doesn’t even realize he is eating!

Another thing I like to sneak in there is a bone broth in place of the water. The water helps blend the chickpeas so that they are a lot smoother but if you replace the water with bone broth, you get the same effect but with a little health and flavor boost!

You can also use other types of squash in the recipe if you are out of pumpkin but have other similar types of winter squash at the house – butternut squash, acorn squash, and delicata squash would all be delicious in this recipe!

This dairy-free pumpkin hummus recipe also makes for a wonderful dish to bring to a family and friends, especially during the holidays. I love bringing my own healthy dish to parties to make sure there is something healthy for me to snack on so I’m not tempted to eat chips and dip. I love pairing hummus with carrots, snap peas, peppers, and even crostini or pita.
