A new twist on avocado toast

Keto and Whole30 Avocado “Toast” aka BurgerFit burger, perfect for any meal. The proteins and fats from the avocado and burger will keep you full for hours.

A common misconception about BurgerFit burgers is that they have to be made with ground beef – but nothing could be further from the truth! You can make BurgerFit burgers with whatever ground meat you have. When I get a little burnt out on ground beef, I’ll switch it up! For this Whole30 Avocado Burger, I made the Spinach & Mushroom BurgerFit burger with ground turkey from Tennessee Grass Fed. They turned out amazing! My son came running into the kitchen to ask what I was cooking because it smelled like Thanksgiving in our house!

While you might think of BurgerFit burgers as just being for dinner, we eat them for lunch and even breakfast – especially this Whole30 avocado burger! The avocado combined with the ground turkey makes for a protein-packed filling meal that won’t leave you hungry an hour later. It’s perfect for my ever-growing son and constantly-hungry husband!
Even though I used the Spicy Brown Koops’ Mustard in this recipe, you can experiment with any of the Koops’ Mustards! Some other ones that I think would be great in this recipe are:
  1. Jalapeño Koops’ Mustard
  2. Arizona Heat Koops’ Mustard
  3. Dijon Koops’ Mustard
  4. Honey Dijon Koops’ Mustard
A few of my favorite BurgerFit burger recipes to eat with this recipe are:
  1. 4 Pepper Burger
  2. Ethiopian Lentil Burger
  3. Sweet Potato Burger
  4. Beet Burger
  5. Radish & Lemon Burger

I was looking for a new addition to my burger and I found this. Honestly, this avocado toast has worked really well but I would suggest that you pick the avocados that are not overly ripe and don’t skip the Koop’s spicy brown mustard, it sure did add to the taste big time!
