Ingredients

  • 1 BurgerFit burger cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 tbsp hummus
  • ½ pita
  • 1 cup lettuce
  • ¼ cup tomato diced
  • cup diced red onion or try pickled onions
  • Kimichi optional, or try fermented beets
  • feta cheese sprinkle to taste

Instructions

  • Heat BurgerFit burger in skillet, microwave, or by desired method.
  • While the burger is heating up, spread 1 tbsp of hummus on the inside of ½ of a pita.
  • Mix the lettuce, tomato, red onion, deconstructed BurgerFit burger, and kimchi (if desired) in a bowl until combined. 
  • Add to pita pocket.
  • Sprinkle feta cheese on top.

    I love that this recipe suggests kimchi, I love that food so much when I was in Korea. Anyway, I’m making this on the 4th of July for my friends that are coming over. I may add some slices of green bell pepper, keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes well.
