I love eating my paleo butternut squash and cranberry turkey patties over a green salad with one of my jar shaken dressing recipesMy husband loves eating his in a pita and my 5-year-old loves eating his with a side of pickles and mustard. There are so many ways you can serve these and they all turn out amazing!

When I cook these patties in the skillet, I usually use leftover bacon fat from cooking the bacon but you can easily use any cooking fat that you prefer to cook with: coconut oil, avocado oil, rendered lard, tallow, etc.

Even though I used the Koops’ Original Yellow Mustard, you can use almost any of the Koops’ Mustards! Some other ones that I think would be great in this Paleo Butternut Squash and Cranberry Turkey BurgerFit Patties recipe are:

If I told my son that he was eating butternut squash, he wouldn’t eat them. That’s why I don’t tell him. -Alane

I made these patties and I love how they turned out. Actually, the butternut squash helped to keep the patties moist and the Koop’s spicy brown mustard helped balance the sweetness of the squash and cranberries – complete goodness!
