Gluten-Free Creamy Honey Mustard Dressing
On Friday’s, BurgerFit CEO Alane Boyd gets creative with BurgerFit burgers and Koops’ Mustard! Alane uses ingredients from her home to create this delicious Gluten-Free Creamy Honey Mustard Dressing recipe with Horseradish Koops’ mustard!
Take your salads up a notch
Gluten-free Creamy Honey Mustard Dressing will make your salad-eating exciting and enjoyable and will help kickstart your healthy eating habits this year!
It has been almost a year since I have bought salad dressing from the store. Since I make my own at home now, I am never in a bind when I go to make a salad (which I do almost every day), and then panic when I realize I am out of dressing! I always keep a few staples on hand and these staples have a very long shelf life so buying them in bulk or large quantities is easy! These items include:
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Olive Oil
- Koops’ Mustard
- Nutritional Yeast
- Fresh lemons (We love fresh lemons in our house and buy them every week as a part of our grocery shopping)
This gluten-free creamy honey mustard salad dressing uses all of these staples and just a few other ingredients that are easily found in your kitchen, like garlic and salt. You can easily swap the garlic powder for fresh garlic if you have it! You can also swap out the honey for maple syrup.
Even though I used the Koops’ Horseradish Mustard in this dressing recipe, you can experiment with any of the Koops’ Mustards! Some other ones that I think would be great in this recipe are:
- Spicy Brown Koops’ Mustard
- Original Yellow Koops’ Mustard
- Dijon Koops’ Mustard
- Stone Ground Koops’ Mustard
If you know me at all, you know that I love eating a BurgerFit burger with my salads. I refer to it as “Alane’s Go-To” and even have a basic structure recipe for it! A few of my favorite BurgerFit recipes to eat with this combo are:
Honey mustard is one of my favorite salad dressings and making it into a creamy version only makes it that much better! – Alane
