The perfect recipe for rosemary potatoes

I was in my early twenties and visiting family in North Carolina when I had rosemary potatoes for the first time. My aunt made them to go with dinner and my tastebuds have never forgotten them! They were so delicious and when she explained how easy they were to make, I knew I had to try to make them myself sometime. I started cooking them on my own and was later told by my friend Joey that it was his favorite food that I would make! He loved them so much that he asked me to teach him how to make them and so we recorded Episode 6 of Cooking with My Friends together, making them with sweet potatoes instead of white potatoes.

Then earlier this year before Coronavirus started spreading, I recorded a BurgerFit Friday episode with Tracey Franklin where after she tasted the fan-favorite, Arizona Heat Koops’ Mustard, she said she wanted to dip french fries in it, it tasted so good. I had to put her idea to the test with this Gluten-Free Rosemary French Fries recipe, and she was right! It is delicious.

“Hey mommy, I love these french fries you made. I want to eat these for lunch!” -Fletcher
Even though I used the Arizona Heat Koops’ Mustard for dipping, for a sweeter touch you can also use:
  1. Honey Dijon Koops’ Mustard
  2. Honey Mustard Koops’ Mustard
  3. Combine two and have a palate party!

Gluten-Free Rosemary French Fries are the perfect pair to just about any of our BurgerFit burger recipes. A few of my favorite BurgerFit Deconstructed recipes to eat with the Rosemary French Fries are:
  1. Alane’s Go-To
  2. Avocado BurgerFit Burgers
  3. Pear & Brie Lettuce Wraps
  4. Flatbread
  5. Roasted Tomat0 Soup

Rosemary French Fries

Isn't it funny how kids think they don't like different foods that are made of the same things as their favorite food? My son LOVES regular french fries but does not like potatoes. I started cutting the potatoes for making rosemary potatoes to look like regular french fries. After that, he gobbled them down just like he would traditional french fries. Sometimes, it is just our perspective that needs to change.
